Travel Information - Getting to us at Watergate Bay

Our surf lessons are held at Watergate Bay, and idyllic 3 miles stretch of Sand on the North Cornish Coast. Our West Coast Surfari 'Base Camp' is located next to the Gone Feral Surf Shop and Phoenix Pub. We also have a roving academy and which is based across the road within the grassy carparking area. Getting here is easy - you'll find below some useful information to help you with your journey!

By Car

Driving to Watergate Bay is easy - in fact it's pretty close to everywhere in Cornwall and is one of the easiest bays to reach straight of the main A30 road. No need to negotiate tricky backlanes, and no busy town traffic. From the main road head towards Newquay airport. From here Watergate Bay is clearly signposted and you'll get a glimpse of the ocean! Getting around Newquay

Once you're here, Pat's Cabs are a reliable taxi service to and from the town, the beach and the nightlife. Newquay airport is only a 2 minute drive from Watergate Bay. Give these guys a call if you need a lift!

Watergate Bay is not just for Surfing, you will find enough entertainment and facilities for a fantastic break. There's plenty to do, whatever your age or purpose of your visit. With Newquay airport just 2 miles up the road it's never been easier to get down to Watergate Bay from most major UK airports. Just a 30 minute flight from London this can be the perfect solution for a quick trip down to Cornwall. Once you land you're a 5 minute taxi ride from the beach.
