INTRO
Surf “n” Skinners – Ideal for groups of all shapes and sizes, the day offers you the opportunity to enjoy a mornings surf tuition at the West Coast Surfari/O’Neill Surf Academy at Watergate Bay followed by an afternoons refreshments and guided tour round Skinners Brewery, Truro.

You’ll get the chance to pull your own pints in the Skinners pub alongside the brewery, tasting the finest ales Cornwall has to offer. It’s a complete day, all organised for you in conjunction with our local friendly cab company “Pats cabs”.

THE SCHEDULE
09.00 – Be ready for your pick up. Pats Cabs will come to your accommodation and deliver you to our beach base at Watergate Bay for your Intro Surf Course, which commences at….

09.30 – Change into your wetsuit, grab your board and hit the sand for a beach lesson learning the basic techniques and etiquette of the sport of surfing. Your coach will then take you into the water for a 90-minute session.

12.30 - Time for lunch break! Refuel at the beach, facilities include a take away, bistro and the local pub in the bay, The Phoenix, serving great lunchtime bar meals (Cost of lunch not included)

13.30- Pats Cabs, pick up from the Watergate Bay.

14.00- Arrive at the brewery. Meet your guide for your tour around followed by the chance to relax in the Skinners Pub, choosing and pouring your own ales.

16.30 - Pick up from the brewery, return to your accommodation for approximately 17.00

COST- £75p.p

Includes your cab journeys from around the Newquay area and a return trip to the brewery. Surf tuition and equipment. Unlimited drinks at the brewery (only certain drinks will apply). An additional fee may apply for transport if you are not staying in the Newquay area. This can be quoted for.

AVAILABLE- April 1st – September 16th, weekdays and weekends

BOOKING - non-refundable deposit of £25p.p required at the time of booking. We will then issue you with confirmation.

RE CONFIRMATION & BALANCE DUE – 10 days prior to arrival. At this point we will pay all the associate companies involved. You will then be fully committed to your day and no refunds will apply should you cancel.

We accept most major credit and debit cards- no fee for use of this facility applies.

ACCOMMODATION: We have a database of great accommodation - from lodges, guest houses and hotels in and around Newquay, so we should be able to help you find something.
