Your West Coast Surfari Surf Holiday...
You will be greeted at the airport in Agadir by WCS senior team coach and taken to our base near the village of Taghazout.
We stay in waterfront apartments right on the fabulous point break wave "Anchors" with many other quality waves close by. There are perfect waves for all abilities, nobody gets you as close to world class waves as we do, which means you can score that perfect dawny or a glassy sunset surf, and with our WCS vehicle, our thourgh knowledge of all the best surf brakes along the coast and what conditions they work best in we can ensure you get those dreem seshions.
As with all our surfing holidays a WCS senior surf coach and surf holiday guide will be on hand from dawn to dusk with advice & coaching to help develop your surfing skills and confidence. We will surf fantastic waves with you. Our aim is to get you away from the cold British winter, soak up the sun, develop your surfing skills and confidence and relax and enjoy the local culture, cuisine and friendly atmosphere.

About Morocco
Even though
Morocco is on our doorstep it is culturally and weather wise a world apart.
Being on the doorstep of the largest desert in the world has its advantages, hot and dry winter weather conditions being one, no wind and constant swells from the
North Atlantic being a notable other.
Add them together and you’ll get the perfect winter surf holiday and adventure destination.
Mid December to the end of february is the middle of the Moroccan winter, with usually the best most consitent cleen surf of the year. Water temperature is a comfortable 16 – 20 degrees, air temperature 18 – 30 degrees during the day and 12 – 17 degrees at night.

A Real Surf Trip for an Unbeatable Price!

We’d like to give you an insight into our next Surf Holiday to
Morocco . We will be there for ten weeks during late December/January/February/, and would like to invite you to come and join us so that we can pass on our passion for surfing, contacts and knowledge of the local area. Between us we have thirty years of surfing, travel and coaching experience. This will be my eighth year returning to the friendly spot of Taghazoute on the West coast of
Africa to escape the British winter and enjoy another incredible surf holiday adventure. Taghazoute is a world famous surfing destination which attracts surfers from all around
Europe . Whatever your ability; beginner or experienced you will see a great improvement in your surfing through living the dream of perfect waves shared with friends. The last wave I rode on our tour in 2008 was a sand point break which exceeded two minutes long. When I think back I am still stoked! There is an endless supply of surf as the Atlantic swell wraps around the points creating perfect peeling waves. You get away from it all on this trip; there are perfect surf conditions as the area is sheltered by the High Atlas and many starry nights. Getting back to basics with no televisions or modern distractions - simply the surf, sun and sandy beaches. We pride ourselves on getting the best waves from an early dawny to a golden sunset surf. When you’ve had enough surf you can sit on the balcony and have a beer! Occasionally we take day trips up the coast to the fish markets of Essaouira and surf other amazing breaks. Morocco was my first overseas surf trip many years ago and it gave me the travel bug. If this is your first trip you will realise that surfing is the purest way to enjoy life.

Academy . This is your opportunity to surf world class waves and experience traditional Moroccan culture. Whilst away on our tour we stay in shared apartments and houses right on the doorstep of a world famous point break; Anchor Point. Anchor Point is just a short walk away from the small fishing
village of
Taghazoute which is full of friendly locals, accustomed to surfers attracted by the natural beauty and laidback life style. If you’re there for a few weeks it is the ideal launch pad for exploring more of Morocco, maybe Marrakesh or the
Sahara . Food in the village is totally fresh, locally grown and therefore we help support the local community. You can visit the Souk’s (local markets) and buy fresh produce to try your hand at cooking the tasty Moroccan cuisine. A couple of nights a week we use tagines and local produce to cook you delicious Moroccan food and on other nights we eat at the restaurants in the local village. What to bring on your surf holiday
- Little is best
- One bag or large backpack
- A 3/2mm Full wetsuit
- One or two surfboards in one board bag. Wax & Leashes
- A pillow and sleeping bag
- Valid passport with at least 6 months left on it
- British & Australian passport holders do not require visa’s but please check if you hold a different passport.
- Personal travel insurance. We will require proof of this. Boots and the Post office may be able to help you as well as your local insurance broker. Please aim to get sufficient cover for your equipment.
- Sterling traveller’s cheques and or English cash are best for Morocco, also debit & credit cards are widely accepted and make it very easy to withdraw cash.
- Travel inoculations are required. Please call your doctors surgery or health clinic to find out the latest requirements. You may need to get these done a few weeks in advance to have full cover in place.
- You must inform us of any medical condition prior to booking.
- Check you have adequate supplies of any medication you may require whilst out there. Orders repeats to arrive in time prior to your departure. Spare contact lenses if you are a wearer and a spare pair of glasses doesn’t go a miss.
- Pack comfortable and warm clothing plus sun supplies
Surf Tour Booking and cancellation

Prices do not include flights. You are responsible for booking and paying for your own flight. We will help give you advice on flights available but the responsibility does lie with you.
West Coast Surfari hold the monies of all clients secure until the surf tour is complete.
To book your place on the Morocco Surf Holiday we require a deposit of £100 payable to “West Coast Surfari Tours and Holidays “

Your balance is due 25 days prior to departure.
- A deposit of £100 by cheque/ postal order or bank transfer is required at the time of booking
- Final payment due 25 days prior to departure
- Cancellation:
- A service fee of £30 per person will charged irrespective of when you cancel
- Cancellation prior to 25 days from the departure date an additional charge of £30 will apply
- Cancellation within 25 days of the departure date an additional charge of £50 will apply
- Cancellation within 14 days of the departure date an additional charge of £70 will apply
- Cancellation after WCS travel has commenced will mean loss of complete monies paid.
- All cancellations need to be put in writing to “West Coast Surfari Tours and Holidays ” 7 Trerice Holdings, St Newlyn East, Newquay. TR7 4PH. We will then issue you with a refund of any monies due by cheque once charges have been applied.
