The Surf Camp

Our surf camp is located in Seignosse, half an hour's drive from Biarritz airport, with easy access to the best surf in the area. It is minutes from the sea, and a short drive to many other great surf spots along this beautiful coast. The campsite is set amongst tall pine trees, with a mixture of sun and shade. It has excellent facilities such as a swimming pool with decked sunbathing area, a launderette, WiFi access, and 24-hour security.

On our camping option we provide your tent, air bed and put up a large marquee for our meals and socialising. On our chalet option you stay in bungalow chalets on the campsite for up to 4 people (sharing).

Our surf tour guides are fully qualified British Surfing Association (BSA) surf coaches and BSA members. Dan, our Senior Surf Tour Guide is a BSA Level 2 Coach and has over 20 years experience surfing all over the world. He has been surf coaching in Newquay for the last 6 years.

Each day our surf tour guides find the best place to surf, and take you there. It's easy! We can use video-analysis for surf coaching, as well as one-to-one coaching in the surf and on the beach. Surf coaching is optional so if you come with the group you can free-surf with us, and enjoy the relaxed, friendly and sociable surf camp atmosphere.

September is a great time to surf this region, the summer crowds have gone home and we usually get some nice late summer warm sunshine, good wind conditions for clean surf and quality early-season swell. Water temperatures are around 20-22C, and daytime temperatures have been as high as 28C.

Travel in the minibus

Travel with us from the UK on the 9th/10th September as we drive through the French countryside down to Seignosse le Penon. We cross the Channel at Plymouth to Roscoff. There is an overnight stay in a French motel (not included). Price includes return travel in the minibus and the ferry crossing, and is for 20 nights. Return journey on the 28th/29th September.

Please note, all prices quoted for the chalet option are based on a minimum of 3 people sharing a 4-berth chalet. For 2 singles or a couple sharing a chalet a supplement of £10 pp/pn applies. No single person chalet option available. Contact us for more details on the chalet.  

Discounts

Our surf holiday package includes professional surf coaching and surfboard hire, meals and accommodation, transport and guidance. Our groups are a mixture of learners and independent surfers.

Because we want to make our pricing both fair and flexible, we don't charge everyone the same, instead we offer a range of discounts to help you save money.

We offer 3 types of discount -

1 - BYOB (Bring your own board) discount - Bring your own surfboard(s) and save money on all our trips, see the France/Morocco tours pages for details.   

2 - Group discount - Save 5% off our prices if you travel in a group of 3 or more.

3 - Customer loyalty discount - Save 5% off our prices if you have travelled with us before on any of our international surf tours.
