About West Coast Surfari
West Coast Surfari operate the O'Neill Surf Academy at Watergate Bay. West Coast Surfari have been an established Professional Surf School in and around the Newquay area since 1997.
The team boasts dedicated surfers that coach and travel the world year to year, fortunate enough to live the lifestyle they promote. The enthusiasm for the sport they love shows through in their coaching skills, and that's where you'll benefit!
We operate our surf lessons on a mobile basis, with most sessions being held at the beautiful Watergate Bay. The team of O'Neill coaches will greet you in the morning at Watergate Bay, assess the surf conditions and then decide which beach is best for us to use - so you get the very most out of you coaching sessions. Mostly we'll aim to stay at Watergate but it's always assessed with your benefit and needs in mind. If surf condions are unfavourable in the Bay, we will venture on a true surf surfari to find you the best waves in the area!
There are many other facilities for use whilst on your surf course with us including the Beach Hut Bistro, The Jamie Oliver inspired "Fifteen Cornwall" restaurant and the Extreme Store.
